Our party of 5 spent a week on a guided cycle tour with Transylvania Cycling. We had a wonderful time. Mihai and Radu were perfect guides, knowledgeable, friendly and highly competent. The two of them designed a fabulous bespoke tour, with just the right amount of challenge, along with the opportunity to experience the history and culture of the region. Throughout the tour we always felt 100% safe and well looked after as we explored the beautiful country of Romania. Our hire bikes were in great condition and stood up to everything we did, both on and off road. We stayed in a variety of lovely pensiuneas which were always well appointed, welcoming, and well provisioned. Adrian, who was our tour photographer, has produced a number of wonderful atmospheric pictures which will greatly enhance our memories of what was, in very respect, and great trip.
I would encourage anyone to explore Transylvania by bike, and would send them to Radu and Mihai, secure in the knowledge that they would put together the trip of a lifetime.
