We had an amazing trip thanks to Mihai's effort and local knowledge! We stayed in an incredible hidden away village that we would never have found otherwise (we actually stayed in a building that was part of the walls of the village's fortified church!) and were lucky enough to meet many of the people who are instrumental in preserving and restoring much of Romania's beautiful heritage in the Saxon area around Sibiu, Sighisoara and Biertan thanks again to Mihai's extensive list of local contacts.
We chose a self-guided package and everything was excellent- from the bikes to the directions (both printed out maps and a very useful iPhone app) and the transfers- Mihai even offered to come and pick us up when our tired legs couldn't quite face the final few kilometres!
Overall we had a fantastic time and were blown away by the amount of effort that Mihai put into our trip. Would definitely highly recommend!! 🙂
