Transylvania Cycling is a Romania-based cycling company focused on private road cycling tours for international riders. We design and guide tours primarily in Transylvania and the Carpathian Mountains, working with cyclists who ride regularly and value a well-organized, flexible riding experience.

The company was created by cyclists with long-term experience riding these roads. Our background on the bike shapes how we plan routes, structure days, and make decisions during a tour. The emphasis is always on the quality of the ride rather than on fixed templates or pre-set itineraries.

We operate exclusively with private groups. This allows us to adjust routes, daily distances, elevation gain, and pacing based on the group’s riding level and preferences. Tours can range from single-day rides to fully custom multi-day itineraries, always designed around the group rather than the calendar.

Our tours are guided and supported, providing both on-the-road leadership and logistical backup. This format offers flexibility during the ride while ensuring safety and smooth logistics throughout the tour.

Routes are designed by riding them repeatedly and refining them over time. We focus on road quality, traffic levels, and how each day flows from start to finish. The aim is to create cycling days that feel coherent, challenging where appropriate, and rewarding to ride.

Accommodation and services are selected to support the riding experience and the overall structure of the tour. Choices are made based on practicality and quality, with the goal of keeping the focus on cycling rather than on unnecessary complexity.
